Dangdang Roti

Roti means bread! There were a lot of Dangdang Roti tricycle running around Ipoh town, mostly Indians selling, Indian men riding at the back of the tricycle, in front of him was a glass case, the lower case filled with all sorts of Roti, long, round, big and small, upper shelf which attracted us were boxes of sweets and snacks in different packaging, we enjoyed just by looking at them and not buying anything.
He didn’t waste space, he hung packets of fried shrimp biscuits (a red doughnut shape biscuit that melts in your mouth) and other food stuff all over both sides of the tricycle, and many other goodies that I have forgotten the name.
As he rode he struck a small bell, when we heard the sound of ‘Dangdang’ we knew that the ‘Dangdang Roti’ man was coming!
